I was born in Tucson , my dad was too and a UA alumni who grew up a block from the university. We all live in Calif. now but forever I'll be a Wildcats fan. I drive around herein Calif. with Arizona blasted all over my car. I love the "Cats". Stanley Johnson and Gabe York are from towns right next door so we were aware of them as outstanding players in high school. There have been some great players that have come out of UA and we have done very well over the years. I have followed them when Lute Olsen was coach but have really followed them since Sean Miller has been coach. So many great players have left after only a year or two recently so it's been awhile that a group of the same guys have played together consistently. When Derrick Williams stayed on for a couple years then Nick Johnson and TJ stuck around we had some good teams. Not to say Stanley, Brandon , Hollis-Jefferson and Gordon weren't great because they were but I think they should have hung in there another year. Last year was more disappointing when we had I think the best team, and they came up short. What a year. You can't put blame on Miller at all when he lost so many players and had to start almost completely new. And you are right TJ was a natural born leader on the court. It will be awhile before Miller has a another right-hand man like him. Some though have to move on. No matter what I will always be a fan. Bear down Arizona Bear down Red and Blue!!
