Re: “The Skinny

"The tax bill is remarkably unpopular." And yet our two heroic senators voted for it. Their hypocrisy shouldn't be all that surprising, did anyone really think think adding to the debt would take precedent over anything that would line their pockets and their donors' pockets? They're Republicans, it's what they do. At least they're honest about being bought, Democrats like to pretend they're the party of the middle class and poor when they're basically Republican-lite (moderate Republicans cool with abortion and gay marriage). This country desperately needs to get money out of politics and make campaigns publicly financed, granting access to all political parties as real democracies do.

McSally or Kirkpatrick? Would you like a shit sandwich or a shit sandwich with extra mayo? Decisions...

Re: “The Ward 6 Pack

"Cease's Green New Deal starts with a realignment of budget priorities, to move money away from corporation incentives..." An anti-corporate welfare candidate, imagine that. Here's hoping the #DemExit vote turns out for him. Good luck, Mike.

Re: “Kirkpatrick Wins EMILY's List Nod in Race Against U.S. Rep. McSally

"the D.C. establishment is coming together to back Kirkpatrick" Wonderful. And we all know the backing of establishment Democrats means everything. You can't make this stuff up. It's sad that the Democrats have learned nothing from 2016 or from the preceding eight years when they lost 1,000 seats at all levels of government nationwide. Ann Kirkpatrick's website is a joke - no positions, a short video with a lot of empty platitudes. People are tired of 'lesser of two evils' choices in elections. As I said when she ran against McCain, her role in the insidious Oak Flat land swap disqualified her for me. Unless the Democrats nominate a Progressive - Matiella and Wheeler have both posted some Progressive policy positions on their websites - we are likely to see a second term for McSally.

Re: “Raising the CD2 Ante: Challenger Kirkpatrick Raises $350,000 in Third Quarter

If Kirkpatrick is the nominee McSally gets re-elected. Sorry, but Oak Flat should DQ Kirkpatrick and the endorsement of blue-dogs Barber and Giffords is a turnoff. That and the carpetbagger ads will write themselves. Mary Matiella has a lot of Progressive positions on her website, Medicare for All, etc., but the lack of anything re: endless wars (she's retired Asst. Secretary of the Army) is a little troubling. Will be interesting to see if the Democrats learned anything from 2016.

Re: “Political Theater: McSally Schedules Town Hall Just in Time To Scramble Critics

She'll never do a town hall in Tucson because she knows her voting record does not represent the views of the majority of people here. Trump lost Pima County by 57,000 votes yet McSally's voting record is 100% support for every Trump position.

Yes, she's a political coward. She is just another hack politician who votes with her party and not for her constituents.
