People just love to lambastes Avril, but to be honest I would much rather my daughter was influenced by Avril rather than so many other artists out there that are overly sexual and/or worse etc.. And at least with Avril you have someone who is a strong empowered young woman whom thinks for herself, doesn't let others push her around, and she does not feel compelled tp conform to the norm, which is often the easiest path, and lastly she is not overly concerned about what others think or say about her. I find these all of traints admirable, but when you don't conform people love to criticise you because it is the easiest thing to do...
