Bamboo Club was a nice locally owned restaurant with good food when I was there and good happy hour deals especially for a mall location. Too bad Park Mall thinks it wise to force a solid established restaurant to close to seek more money .....and likely have the place just sit empty or another to come in and go belly up due to high overhead.

Fuddruckers. Seriously. Simple, straight up. Make their own buns, grind their own beef. Toppings bar to fix how you want. No peanut butter. No fried eggs. Just the way God intended. Real milkshakes. And no beating back the half dozen pan handlers as you go in and out like Lindys that would set you back as much as your own meal.

Rita - you're wasting your energy. I get tired of types like Bobbylou. They are SO cool and sophisticated, bad mouth Tucson but somehow choose to live here. Please go back to California and with the attitude because we know it is so great........ thats why people have come here by the thousands bringing the cesspool with them.

I always liked Jim Parisi, his no non sense and common sense, non partisan approach and past journalism experieince he put to use. He will be missed and I wish him well.
He and Joe Higgins and Chris DiSimone an Wake Up Tucson are the BEST things on local radio.

Rob O'Dell is the only reporter who can get to and report the stories. His stuff and writing on Rio Nuevo and city politics has been unequaled and unsurpassed. No offense Tucson Weekly.

    Re: “Police Dispatch
I think this column as you say holds a mirror to the dark underside of Tucson and our society and makes me thank God for the Tucson Police and Pima County Sheriff's stuff they have to deal with that no one else can and will. Yes, they deal day in and day out with many of the worst elements of society and a lot of calls dealing with people with drug, alcohol and mental health issues. And yes you do present it in a snarky and entertaining way.
