Just Married

The moment you’ve been waiting for your entire life finally arrives: your wedding day. The chapel is so picturesque tears fill your eyes, your soon-to-be spouse utters heartfelt vows and the priest pronounces you husband and wife. Your wedding night is filled with the finest amenities that money can buy, and the time-honored traditions—like being carried over the threshold—are done with overwhelming joy. Soon you will embark on your honeymoon filled with newlywed bliss and start your life of love and perfection. That is, if you’re not victims of childish pranks and endless bad luck as in director Shawn Levy’s ridiculous, yet surprisingly entertaining, light-hearted flick. Brittany Murphy and Ashton Kutcher co-star as a recently married couple who get buried in a snowbank while trapped in a yellow Matchbox car, get evicted from a 4-star hotel for creating a power surge while charging a sex toy, and get in a fight of jealous rage while half dressed and armed with a fire poker. Although the domino effect of misfortune and the predictable happy ending are endless and unbelievable, the chemistry between the two co-stars and their charm will entertain audiences until death do they part.
