Re: “Police Dispatch

I have to agree with Roxanne...not only does that put them DOWN people with mental illness if you are slow it makes them not to sure about getting help since you all decided to use it for laughs. As well as the problem of people with mental illness the local companies that are supposed to help the patients often just pass out drugs that are more harm then good. Not taking into consideration the side effects of each person and the family members of the patient. Many times when people use the world Crazy it puts people with mental illness further into the black hole. That makes the conditions worse and can result in suicide. Now the person that wrote that hope you feel like major crap. Ohh and make sure you understand that not only did you hurt people suffering from mental illness but families and family members suffering and coping with the change of that member. Hmmm I am SMHing Shaking My Head also saying No Ya Didn't and don't care if I have typos so there!!!

Re: “Guest Commentary

I just believe bookstores are having to shut down because everything is going digital. More people are getting too lazy to go to the store to get the book. Shows that most Americans like everything instant. I do like the idea of books going digital but then it takes the fun out of spending time to look for a good one. Yet the new way of getting books is cheaper and saves trees. Just saying...

If we all read more books, the world would be a smarter, more empathetic place
