Since the Governor's ultimate goal is to privatize public education, I think his Council will find a way to redistribute funding in such a way as to further destabilize as many public schools as possible. The legislature will eliminate the deseg funding on its own, so the Council won't need to worry about that. Same for expanding vouchers to include all students. There are probably a dozen scenarios beyond this. Is there any way to stop this? Yes, there is. We can stop it all this November.
