Re: “UPDATED: What the Hell Happened in the Arizona Primary Yesterday?

I sympathize with those of you who feel disenfranchised because you're independent & not allowed to vote in either major party primary. It's the same in my state. However, if there is a candidate you really want to vote for, it's worth it to register for that party (& unregister if you don't want to stay). I don't identify myself as the party with which I'm registered (currently Democrat), but with what I feel inside, which aligns me closer to certain minority parties (Green, Progressive, Socialist). I think the way to break out of the 2-Party system (besides letting the 2 parties collapse on their own, which at least the Republican Party seems to be doing right now), is to form a coalition among like-minded minor parties, many independents, & progressives & even libertarians from the Democratic & Republican parties that will challenge both parties.. The groups now supporting Bernie could be the catalyst for such a movement, especially if Bernie doesn't get nominated by the Democrats.
