When: Sat., Jan. 10, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. 2015

2nd annual Mochitsuki rice pounding celebration for Japanese New Year’s. Mochi is a sweet Japanese rice cake, pounded and molded into shape. Odaiko Sonora taiko drummers and singer Yuki Ibuki to perform, plus mochi samples, origami, Japanese games, raffle prizes. Sponsored by the Southern Arizona Japanese Cultural Coalition.
