What could be a reasonable restaurant is totally ruined by this chain's ridiculous overuse of salt. Every single menu item we've tried has been saturated with salt. In fact, the last time we went my lips felt parched from all the salt. I'm not kidding! We told the manager yet all he did was essentially deny the obvious fact of how they prepare their food. His loss because we're now done with Firebirds.

We guarantee you'll be blow away by Firebird's total overuse of salt. Think we're exaggerating? Find out for yourself, if you dare.

Went here today, May 21st, for the first time. It was pretty good. Not much more to say other than I may be back. Give em a try.

I really like this place. If it were closer I'd probably go a little more often. Tourists should not miss this stop. Not sure why it's called the desert museum. I mean one aspect of the place is museum like. However, it's really a small zoo more than anything else. I'd give them 5 stars if the food was a little better and less expensive.

Went here yesterday and used a "get a free appetizer" coupon valued at eight bucks. I ended up getting two things from TGI. A slight attitude from the waitress, maybe because I had a coupon?, along with a few small, dried out, overdone slider burgers. The plate came nicely garnished with some brownish, wilted lettuce. Totally comical. On a positive note. I don't have anymore coupons so I won't have to go back to this crap hole.

The first two times I went, once in California and once in Tucson, I thought I liked the Cheese Cake Factory. But after the third time, I'm no longer impressed. Salty, expensive Americanized prefab food. That basically sizes up this chain. Check these interesting quotes out I found online:

"The Cheesecake Factory is accused of mistreating its employees. There is at least one lawsuit against the company in violation of federal labor law by engaging in illegal pay practices...."

"The Cheesecake Factory has been called the "worst family restaurant in America..." The average sandwich at the restaurant contains 1,400 calories."

Bottom line is El Charro sucks, regardless of location. They don't even heat up their Americanized, pre-made food enough. Come on guys. At least heat your crap up a little longer in the microwave before you serve it.
