    The word "govern" comes from the Latin word "gubernare" meaning "to steer, rule". I would just as soon she "represent" us, not "rule" us.

    Giffords wants to "govern" (read to mean "rule") instead of" represent" her constituents. She serves in the people's house, the House of Representatives. They were given only two year terms for a reason.
