Too bad I saw this in the issue mailed to me on the 13th.

Re: “The Music Man Comes To Town

If I may pick a nit here, I would like to point out that the creator of this terrific piece of work over 60 years ago deserves to have his name, Robert Reiniger Meredith Willson, properly spelled.

Re: “Shark Weak

I'm going to suggest that JAWS, from 1975, got away with a PG rating because the rating PG-13 was not invented until 1984 after INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM was released with a PG.

Re: “A Video Survey of American Dialects Makes You Realize That You're the Only One Who Speaks Correctly

Massachusetts still has a lot of people who refer to a soda as "tonic", and a milkshake as a "frappe" (pronounced "frap"). A hero/hoagie/sub is somewhere (Connecticut rings a bell) called a "grinder" - don't think that was on the video. And in all the concern for the pronunciation of "bag" they completely ignored the fact that in some parts of the country that would be called a "sack".

Re: “Check Out This Bear Play Tetherball

That ball must have been pretty hard. He really seemed to be worried a few times that he was going to get clocked in the head with it. But he handled it really well.
