"Post-Centennial Reflections: Musical Responses to Independence, Revolution and Migration" is the topic of this third annual symposium, highlighted by Julieta Cedillo's recital at Crowder Hall in the UA School of Music, 1017 N. Olive St., at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 20, and the UA School of Music presentation of the Costa Rican zarzuela, "Toyupán," at the Stevie Eller Dance Theater, l737 E. University Blvd., at 7:30, Friday, Jan 21. Tickets for each are $9; $7, employees and seniors age 55 and older; $5, students. Other presentations and performances take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, Jan. 21 and from 8:30 to 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 22. Free to the public.
