    Re: “Eastside Eats
It upsets me to see people complaining that this restaurant didn't meet their own, personal expectations... Sometimes you have to just take a chance and try something outside of your comfort zone.. If you spend your whole life making decisions based on reviews of others you may miss out on something awesome... If you go to every new restaurant with only the expectations of the same things that you are comfortable with, you'll be living a pretty boring life... Been there several times, the service is consistently friendly and thorough which, unfortunately, is not always easy to find... The food is not universally appealing but the ingredients are without a doubt high quality... If you want the same old thing that appeals to the general public then go eat the microwaved assembly line food at Chili's or Applebee's... Heist has something unique in flavor combos and aesthetic... It's just too bad most people are afraid to try something different and risk being disappointed...no, it's not for everyone, but why not take a chance on good service and quality ingredients?... And I understand the "I don't want to waste my hard earned money argument", but going out to eat should be seen as a treat or minor luxury, not a necessity... you can easily try a few things there for under $20... If you can't part with that amount of money for an experience, maybe you shouldn't be going out to eat...
