It's odd but I don't see much (any?) comment on the 11,000 arcre feet (3,584,365,697 gallons) of water that will be pumped out of the pit during the de-watering process. The cone of influence will leave a large area w/out vegetation. It will take a little less than 900 years for 90% of that water to be restored. There is no remediation plan to correct that defiencency in the area of the pit and its surrondings.
