Hunger Action Month

The Community Food Bank challenges people in Southern Arizona to eat no more than $4 worth of food daily, from Tuesday through Friday, Sept. 3 through 6. The average amount of SNAP (formerly food stamps) allowed for each person is $4. Free piña colada eegees are featured at "Go Orange Day," an information fair about the Community Food Bank, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 5, at Jácome Plaza, 101 N.
