Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil is getting a bad rap that it does not deserve. The premise is silly children’s fodder, with Granny (the voice of Glenn Close) getting kidnapped by a witch (Joan Cusack) who needs the secret ingredient to a powerful truffle recipe to complete her world-domination plot. Red Riding Hood (Hayden Panettiere) must leave her secret training grounds and hook up with her partners, the Big Bad Wolf (Patrick Warburton) and Twitchy (Cory Edwards), to save the world. The film is fun for both adults and children, and is great for geeks of all kinds, who will enjoy it immensely, as it is rife with pop-culture references.
