Henry Poole Is Here

Director Mark Pellington’s film will touch all, regardless of one’s religious beliefs. Luke Wilson plays the title character, a depressed and reclusive atheist on a pizza-and-vodka diet who has no faith left after a disheartening medical diagnosis. On the other end of the spectrum is the busybody neighbor convinced she sees the face of Christ in a water stain on Poole’s house. While her fanaticism and total disregard for privacy push Poole to the edge, he finds solace in another neighbor, a cute single mom.
