Re: “Arizona Reaction to Trump’s Border Emergency Splits Along Party Lines

Only those who refuse or are incapable of a Critical Analysis of the Facts and the Actions of Donald Trump will deny that he poses a threat to our Constitutionally Protected Freedoms and National Security. He is NOT fit to service in the Office of President of the United States. He is Mentally Unstable and has undermined the very nature of our Constitutional Democracy with Three Co-Equal Branches of Government, as well as our Independent and Free Press.

In Supporting Donald Trump, the GOP has ignored the Welfare of our Country, putting Party Politics as their main Considerations!!! Why? So as to maintain the GOP Power and Privileged Positions in Government: at both the National and State Levels.

Trump will be removed from Office before 2020!!!

Re: “Arizona Reaction to Trump’s Border Emergency Splits Along Party Lines

1. a sudden, urgent, usually unexpected occurrence or occasion requiring immediate action.
2.a state, especially of need for help or relief, created by some unexpected event.

Trump has been declaring a "National Emergence" for Months as a Political Tool to get his "Wall".

There is, in fact, NO Emergency. His Declaration of a "National Emergence" is an Unconstitutional Abuse of Executive Authority and will be reversed by the Courts.

It forms the basis for his Impeachment by Congress!!

Re: “It Is Finally Here! The 2019 Tucson Weekly Cannabis Bowl!

The Tucson Weekly's advocacy for the use of Marijuana is Completely Irresponsible; a Disregard for the Health and Safety of the Community!!

The "Medical Marijuana" of today is NOT like the Marijuana used in the 70's and 80's. Through Artificial Selection Experiments, strains of Marijuana have been developed by the Marijuana Drug Industry that substantially increase the potency of the Drug. As such, its' use poses serious potential consequences.

Marijuana of today is a Very Potent and Dangerous Drug!!!

"Marijuana pipe found in car of driver charged in crash that killed Ann Day"; Carmen Duarte Arizona Daily Star May 12, 2016.

"Fatal road crashes involving marijuana double after state legalizes drug": Science News, May 10, 2016. Source: AAA

Summary: "Fatal crashes involving drivers who recently used marijuana doubled in Washington after the state legalized the drug, according to the latest research. New research also shows that legal limits for marijuana and driving are arbitrary and unsupported by science, which could result in unsafe motorists going free and others being wrongfully convicted for impaired driving. Washington was one of the first two states to legalize the recreational use of marijuana, and these findings raise serious concerns about drug-impaired driving with at least 20 states considering marijuana legalization this year."

Marijuana use for Medical purpose should be supported by Scientific evidence, including Clinical Trials, and regulated by the FDA; closely monitored by the tending Physician and State Department of Health. Medical Marijuana should be available by Prescription only (in a Pharmacy) issued by a Licensed Physician.

Congress should amend the Controlled Substances Act of 1970: Controlled Substances Act (CSA) (21 U.S.C. 812) making Marijuana available for Medical Treatment.

The major consumers of this Drug, if legalized for so-called recreational purposes, will be the younger generation; destroying the very fabric/future of our Democracy.

This Drug should NOT be legalized for recreational purposes!!!

Re: “Martha McSally's Worst Nightmare Is on the Launch Pad: Former Astronaut Mark Kelly Is Running Against Her for U.S. Senate

What is Mark Kelly's Position on Health Care and Palestine?

It is essential for Mr. Mark Kelly, in his Candidacy for the US Senate, to make clear his position on Heath Care, i.e. "Medicare for All" , and the Political Situation in Palestine; that The United States must re-evaluate and re-formulate our Foreign Policy in the Middle East; a recognition of the historic character of Palestine as representing the common heritage of Christian, Jews, and Muslims; that the United States rejects claims for the completely autonomous political and cultural development of any one religious/cultural group in Palestine; that Christians, Jews, and Muslims have a cooperative, co-equal, semi-autonomous share in the political and cultural development of Palestine; to undue the injustices to the indigenous people of Palestine.

Re: “University of Arizona Wants to Ax UA Assistant Men's Basketball Coach

...and....The Arizona Board of Regents are, in fact, complicit in the Corruption within the UofA Athletic Program for allowing/supporting the Arizona University System transformation into a Corrupt "For Profit Business"!

Dave Heeke $575,000/yr; Rich Rodriguez $2.5 million/year, Kevin Sumlin $3.5 million/yr, Sean Miller $2.6 million/yr....while UofA Students are skipping Meals because of On Campus Food costs Provided by "For Profit' Venders.

Outrageous!!!. The Athletic Program at the UofA Must be Dismantled; and, Arizona Resident Access/Matriculation to the Arizona Univerity System provided at NO Cost!!

Re: “University of Arizona Wants to Ax UA Assistant Men's Basketball Coach

With few exceptions, the Athletic Program at the UofA has become a "Feeder Program" for Professional Sports. The inveterate/wide spread corruption within the Athletic Program is symptomatic of this focus with the complete disregard of the Main Mission of the University...Student Academic Career Preparedness!

This is not at all surprising, since the University has became a "For Profit Business" Financially Scamming Students with the Support of a Corrupt Athletic Program that brings Millions to the University.

The Athletic Program at the UofA, at such, Must be Dismantled!!

Re: “A Koch Education Initiative? Buyer Be Very Wary

"The younger generation is less sympathetic and less understanding of limited government conservatism, .........Theyre more sympathetic or more willing to give not just social justice but outright socialism a chance. ..." YES!!!!!!

The Constitutional Democracy of the United State, is based upon private property rights, a market economy, and the unfettered accumulation of wealth. These are the tools that our society uses through which individual and national ambitions for freedom and happiness may be reached. Could this be an illusion and productive of neither, and, in fact, destructive of both when pursued in contradiction to community interests and achieved on the miseries or credulity of others? Can we look at our own enormous wealth and see, at the same time, our own decadence; the untrammeled pursuit of individual wealth and luxury that has been destructive of both community and individual interests as evidenced by a decaying system of Public Education, Public Health Care, and, in fact, the decay of the very health of our Citizens?---- all related to the centrifugal focus of our Society.

The primary focus of Government is the development of Citizens primarily through Public Education and Health Care; both should be provided at Public Expense and NOT through a "Free Market, Profit Based Economic System" where maximizing Profit and Salaries are the primary motivations and not First Rate Systems of Public Education and Health Care for ALL US Citizens; understanding that the very Nature of Human Society involves an Inherent Relatedness, Commonality, and Mutual Dependence; Domestically and Internationally.

This will NOT change until Arizona Voters DEMAND Change.

Wake Up Arizona Voters and change our Political/Social to Representative Social Democracy.
