I am a parent of five children and attend most children theatre productions available in Tucson. Recently we had the privilege of seeing “The Twits” at Studio Connections and were impressed as usual at the professionalism and family friendly production. The cast involved the children in the audience and the children were mesmerized the entire time. Today, I took my children to see the production of “Charlotte's Web” at Pima West. Although, a great play, it did not come close to entertaining the children as the shows do at Studio Connections.

This label you put on Studio Connections "incestuous" has the ability to frighten parents away from an experience that is educational, entertaining and most important, introduces our children to the fine arts of theatre at a young age. Tucson Weekly’s name was all over the Pima West Campus; parents trust Tucson Weekly to give accurate, proper information, please rename this award, you owe it to all parents that read and respect your publication.
