The Arizona International Film Festival will start off with a local filmmaker's documentary this year. On Thursday, April 9, from 6 to 10 p.m. The Rialto Theatre, 318 E. Congress St., will debut "Many Bones, One Heart," by Tucsonan Leslie Epperson. The documentary traces the history of the All Souls Procession, from its small inception to the large city celebration it's become, and hopes to reveal "the healing power of giving creative voice to grief." The festival takes place in Tucson each year and brings hordes of talented individuals with it. Now in its 24th year, the festival remains dedicated to showcasing independent films from around the world to an Arizona audience. Doors open at 6 p.m. The film is family friendly and 79 minutes long. Tickets are $10. For more information, check out filmfestivalarizona.com.
