Barbara Jaquay discusses Father Kino's many expeditions and discoveries; his skills as a mathematician, cartographer and astronomer; and the detailed records he kept in diaries of his travels that continue to give scholars insight into the cultures and geography in what is now Northern Mexico and the Southwestern U.S. The lecture is sponsored by the Arizona Humanities Council.
