Re: “The Castro Chronicles

As I recall, Gov Castro left Arizona for S.A but had an accident on his way there. Didn't he fall out of a bunk on the train and break his leg? So he spent his first times as Ambasssador lugging around that unwieldy cast?

Re: “Response Requested

Possibly some recent personel departures may have something to do with delayed response.

Re: “Wear Your Legwarmers

Oh- 1984. The Weekly was kind enough to publicize our 1984 party on Cardinal Ave.

It was a giant jam, remember the Boomers, Mr.Calm and the Willies, White Guys (play the blues)?

I had made 180 Winston Smith stick on labels for people who came in. They disappeared in about 1/2 hour. The house and yard suddently was full of people doing the 1984 than'g.

The party- including five or more bands and numerous jams, went on into the morning (in the county they gave us a break) when some other friends from the rez came around 4:00 am they did a 49'er in our house. An honor I never forget. Then everyone went to sleep on all our prepared for sleep floors because we weren't sending anyone home after this blow out. Thanks to the Weekly for telling people about our blues barbecues (we were not the only ones, but we did quite a few- all hail Foster and Bonnie!!!)
We ended up with 450 plus people at the 1984 party, banners all around the house with 1984 quotations. In the morning we went up and down our street for a mile total picking up cardboard 12 pack containers.. But not one accident, that's probably because I made about 200 people sleep all over the house floors. 1984 always meant a lot to me before this date, but the party was an anarchist rebellion, don't ever forget what 1984 stands for.. Re: “Downing

My brother-in-law had skin grafts on his feet and ankle areas from 1970 or earlier. These are always peeling.. He knows his feet better than anyone. He got an infection in one of the lesions and had no access to get the correct antibiotics, if he could have travelled h Would have gone to Mexico. Self employed. His foot had swollen so much he had to go to the emergency room in Tucson. After 3 hours waiting for triage, the nurse there freaked, said he was going to lose his foot, he told her exactly what it was and only needed the prescription.

They sent him upstairs to foot floor. He sat there for close to 8 hours. He convinced the doctor that saw him that it was a regular problem because of the skin grafts. The doctor prescribed the antibiotic, T. paid for it at the local pharmacy and all was well.

Until he got his bill. They charged him for the 3 hours in the emergency room waiting for triage (you have to sign in when you get there, then you wait while the bill charges tick tock.))

and then they charged him for the nearly 8 hours he waited upstairs waiting for a doctor to see him. He went to obmbudsman and in the end had to split the bill, $800 on his part. After the discount they gave him as a gesture of good will. Wrap that around your head.

Re: “O'Sullivan

You said
"even though he was acquitted of charges of molesting another boy in 2005, he admitted to having young boys sleep in his bed, was known to have given them alcohol, scanned porn sites with them and even gave them lessons in masturbation."
Ever been on a jury? Have to weigh the evidence presented , that is. Guilt or Reasonable doubt based on the evidence. Basta! Hasta!
