Re: “Evolution Revolution

Well, how's that for a biased article?

Dismiss me as a "fundamentalist" or whatever term you prefer, my dear.

But even if I am wrong, I am right.

I awaken in the morning to the sound of a symphony in the trees, a personal
gift to me (and you) from a bountiful Creator. The sunrise and sunset, the phases of
the moon, speak to me of His faithfulness; every tuft of deep-green moss, each
sparkling brook tumbling its way thru wooded forest glade until it laughingly
flings itself off the rocks and cascades into a thundering waterfall....

...and all creation... shouts "See? how I have loved you?" Confirm it if you will, with the life
and words and death of Yeshua (Jesus), who has as sure a footing in the history of the
planet as does George Washington.

Or ignore this, and awaken each morning thinking that you, and all about you, are nothing but a fluke, having arisen merely by chance from some primordial slime, and that ultimately, your life has no more meaning than a dead stick in your backyard. So what if you leave a legacy, children, monuments behind? So what if you change the course of history? What difference, to cold, dark matter in the mindless process of evolution?

Suit yourself. And as you draw your last breath, hope against hope that you were right; that there truly is no heaven to gain, nor hell to avoid. Especially, that you didn't lead little children astray in this matter.

On the other hand, I will have prepared for that last breath, and have lived well besides. I am right, even if I were wrong...which I am not, as many an honest person, having examined the actual evidence, has discovered. You are a person of greater faith than I. The truth, of course, will prevail in the end, regardless of how much faith we placed in our own ideas.
