Re: “Jon Justice Responds to Dupnik Criticism

You people who are all upset about Sheriff Dupnik's remarks a) didn't hear what he actually said, and b) are reacting out of guilt and shame because you know he is right. NOWHERE in his comments did he single out right-wing/conservative radio EXCLUSIVELY. He mentioned talk radio AND the tv commentators AND television in general, referring to what we're allowing our children to be exposed to.

It's one thing to disagree. It's another thing to talk about putting people in crosshairs. Furthermore, people need to learn to listen with their own ears as opposed to simply accepting what someone ELSE said someone ELSE said as gospel. The ignorance of the majority of the body politic is overwhelming. These same conservatives who are poo-pooing the idea that talk radio and political talking heads spews vitriolic rhetoric are too stupid to admit to even themselves that they have a responsibilty for the words they say.

Just as the person calling "fire" in a crowded room causes a stampede is held responsible for any loss of life, so should those persons getting paid millions but doing nothing productive, merely ranting and spewing hate speech.
