Cracked Earth beneath my feet
Tiny crevices crack the ground
Just like glass shards—
But regardless
Life thrives
The wind is harsh from above
Dry and brittle to the touch
Sand bombards my eyes—
But regardless
Life thrives
Heat waves ironically imitates water
Flowing around me in ripples
Drowning the world in fire—
But regardless
Life thrives
No matter how harsh—
How deadly—
The desert is—
Life thrives
Everywhere
