Born in the desert, raised where the world bleeds white. The desert called me, compulsion in my bones. Heat beating me wave after wave. Unaware; my education begins. Nauseous, wasted, & bewildered. How thorough & swiftly I'll be destroyed. Faltering forced to kneel, the land demanded worship, laughing I yielded. Now the scent of rain, the storms, & beautiful vast blue skies...whispers I am home.
