Dust Devil

comment

The original recipe was in Tohono O'odham.  It was translated into Spanish by a dissolute chef whose job depended on Porfirio Diaz enjoying his morning repast. An anxious Irish reporter on the run from Pancho Villa, with the mistaken belief that he had time to spare, translated it into English. After all these linguistic transmutations we're expected to believe it constitutes the last word in breakfast burritos.
