Re: “Occupy Phoenix? The Weather is Agreeable and the Bastards Need a Kick in the Ass

They all seem like common sense legislation:
First of all why should unions have the ability to in reality, garnish a member's wages and then turn around and then use it on political campaigns that said member might very well disagree with. I don't think civil employee unions should have the same power as private ones anyway. They donate to the re-election of people who are supposed to oversee their budgets. That's a clear conflict of interest.
As for the "accent police". Do you really think I would be teaching Spanish grammar in Mexico if my accent had a thick gringo drawl. It would never even come up.
But hey I'm an evil republican and you're the "good guy" democrats. BS

Re: “You Should Probably Get to Know David Barton

Its very simple, if the Weekly is for it ..be against it, if it's against something or someone be for them or it. It is hate filled, slated, self-righteous "alternative" (yeah right, alternative to what the Star?) newspaper. And the other person who stated "follow the man who seeks the truth...ditto. The Weekly and its ilk should heed those words....they're supposed to the "free Press"...This guy's a minister, he is supposed to believe in absolutes.
BTW if you don't believe we are on the "road to ruin", have a conversation with your average 18 year old about morality, ethics and religion. Then imagine what their grandchildren will believe, influenced by decades secularism, modern pop culture, soon to be virtual reality ultra-violent games, ubiquitous hard-core porn, and mangled family structures. They'll be sitting next your great-grandkids in class.
