Re: “Media Watch

I hope KMSB doesn't replace Good Morning Arizona originating from Phoenix. Tucson morning shows are blah, blah and frankly having KVOA, KGUN, KOLD in the morning and KGUN's mid-morning show is too much for this slow town. There are a lot of Phoenicians living in Tucson and quite a few Tucsonans who work in the Phoenix area. Keep GMA on KMSB and make this viewer happy.

Re: “Media Watch

Too bad Rebecca Taylor is leaving KVOA. But I'm wondering if she is going to stay in Tucson...I hear Fox 11 is trying out new things with their news department. She would be by far the best regular week night anchor. Of course, from what I understand she likes music, especially country music so I could see her working in that industry too.

But I think RDiddy is thinking the same way I am. If she was leaving Tucson, she probably would have said something to the effect. If she is staying in Tucson, she probably has enough respect and dignity to not say anything since she is still employed at KVOA.

Re: “Media Watch

I don't know if a four-hour long morning program is going to work. It would take an enormous effort to staff the right people to report last night and overnight news and report it in-depth and find enough 'light' news to balance it out. Tucson is no Phoenix and in fact I enjoy watching a little KTVK 3 since I lived in Phoenix for short time and have friends there. The bottomline, if there were enough news content to fill out four hours, the other stations would have been able to do that already.
