Deadline Madness!

Folks, we want you to be involved with the Tucson Weekly--but being involved in the newspaper business means that you have to follow deadlines.

Therefore, here are some reminders about deadlines you need to know about:

· Get Out of Town!: This is your last chance to kick that annoying person, place, thing, organization or whatever out of Tucson. Type up a 100-word blurb, give or take a few words, and send it to me no later than 9 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5. (Include your contact information for verification purposes, please!) The spiffiest submissions will run in our special Get Out of Town! issue on Dec. 13.

· Project White House: Wanna run for president, for real (sort of), and receive the Weekly's endorsement? Details can be found in last week's cover package or this week's Skinny, and the deadline for submissions is Friday, Dec. 7.

· New Year's Guide: We're putting together a special section for our Dec. 27 issue. Please send us information on your New Year's-related events no later than Monday, Dec. 10, to listings@tucsonweekly.com (for City Week and general events), musiced@tucsonweekly.com (for music events) or noshing@tucsonweekly.com (for dining-related events/special meals). If you're unsure where to send information about your particular event, send it to me, and I'll do my best to make sure it gets in the right hands. Be sure to include as much information as possible: date, time, description, cost, location, contact information, etc.

Thanks for following these deadlines--and being a part of the Tucson Weekly.
