Could the author be any more smart-ass? I hate the Weekly which I call often call "The Tucson Bleekly" cause they are always and uniformly negative. Check them out every week and see if I'm not right! And you guys bitch about local media of which you ARE one.

By the way, it's all about the Benjamins. Check out who owns major parts of downtown and what he used to do..."his" name is Douglas Biggers and he is a business man who owns the entire block of the Rialto Theater.

Did you people also know that Wick Communications, the firm that published the notoriously anti-business Tucson Weekly also publishes "Inside Tucson Business." See what I mean? It's all about the Benjamins.

Now I personally think there is nothing wrong with that. Hey, I started my small local business with Tucson Weekly classified so thanks Weekly. Just wish you would quit with the rants!

The previous comments show that inherent belief that people are stupid. 16 -17 years old make a life changing decision on the basis of a movie video? Celebrities who think their ideas are un-important? See what I mean?

I notice no attack on the content of my comment, just a thinly-disguised attack on me personally via my business. Go ahead and dispute the content, however, I doubt you can. Not going anywhere, for which I could be sorry, but I'm not.

So...the HISPANIC Chamber is named. Try starting a Caucasian Chamber. Won't go far, at least not in this city. You say, the Hispanic Chamber was just created in response to the fact that hispanics were not being accepted to the regular chamber? So, I reply, this is about reparations! And, of course, it is.

I saw Jimmy Smits years ago on the Latin Emmy Awards say something like, "Support your fellow latino and latina actors." "Yes," thought I, "But what if they are lousy actors?
Should you support them merely for the color of their skin?" I guess answer is yes and I'd also wager that MLK is turning over in his grave.

I will add my name, profile, etc. to this debate gladly. I don't much care who does or doesn't like my comments. I'm a big boy and I don't need to, as Steve says, "grow up." Instead, he should grow up. Grown ups usually don't call names and make sure disparaging remarks. I guess you could call me intolerant of intolerance. Now I didn't see this so can't comment on the veracity of it, but I can read and what he says is unworthy of a government official. I don't like it. Also, I don't listen to any of the programs he lists.

I love the quote from "X-files." I agree, obviously.

Also, re conspiracies, one person who I thought was brilliant, said this, "What about competing conspiracies? More than one group who wants to rule?" I think he was spot on.
