This event will shed light on local work dedicated to ensuring a sustainable water future for our region and draw parallels to how it fits into the bigger picture of proper water management in the West. From 9 to 11 a.m. at the Watershed Management Group's Living Lab, 1137 N. Dodge Blvd., on March 5, there will be water policy experts, community organizers, advocates, adjudicated teens reentering the community, and youth stewards for the environment. Public conversation about whether we're doing all we can as a community to conserve water will create a natural transition for members to feel connected to local policy-making. The event is free, but registration is required by March 1. Information can be found at communitywatercoalition.org.
