Chucho Valdes, the most influential figure in modern Afro-Cuban jazz, brings his 10 piece group to Tucson. Chucho has won five Grammys and three Latin Grammys. The band, with Chucho leading on piano, is revisiting and reinterpreting the music of Irakere which released more than 30 albums.
