The ones committing these idiotic crimes are NOT carrying a gun permit. Carry permit holders are not the ones you have to watch. I am a carry permit gun owner, a grandmother, and a great-grandmother. I carry to protect MYSELF!!! from the crazies. Gun laws are too laxed but the crazies and criminal-minded have always and will always be able to obtain guns - so gun laws will be directed to the legal carriers. I was fingerprinted and had a background check. I am not going out to shoot up a place but it is might right to protect myself in case I come across the crazies.
