Carnaval de Calaveras

When: Sun., Oct. 27 2013

CHISPA Foundation, Ballet Folklorico and VIVA Performing Arts dance in costumes depicting El Día de Los Muertos at 1 p.m.; Grupo Coatique performs Native American dance and drumming at 2 p.m.; and Puppets Amongus present a Día de Los Muertos puppet show at 3:15 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 27; free. Tables and attractions include pumpkin pancakes from Davis Bilingual School's garden; a craft table with Día de Los Muertos coloring books; sugar-skull decorating with La Estrella Bakery; Adela Antoinette Face Painting; Beads of Courage making bracelets, and more. Donations are accepted for the All Souls Procession.
