Re: “Our Ink-Stained Heart

Was there no Best Coffee? Not all the good coffee in town roast their own beans? Or was that the requirement? So surprized.

Re: “Thrillist Wants Eegee's to Expand Nationwide—Sorry, Rest of the Country, It's Ours

Long live Watermelon!! The best part of July in Tucson. And you know, haters gonna hate. I don't see any suggestions for what they consider the best, oh yes, because everything sucks in Tucson, I forgot. Hahahahaha! I bet everything always sucks, where ever those folks are, and you know what that means, right? "Wherever you go, there you are."

Re: “Best of Tucson Voting: Settle the Guacamole Debate

Poco & Mom's make the best New Mexico guacamole anywhere. Go, try it, convince yourself. You won't regret it. And if you are longing for any New Mexico type cuisine, they've got you covered, from Hatch green chile sauce to their amazing red pork, and flat layered enchiladas packed with green chile and chicken. Delicious!

Oh and for Eegee's rotating flavor of the month, doesn't it make you love it more, when it's finally time to have it again? I think watermelon Eegee's is one of the things that makes July bearable in the Old Pueblo. It's one of the few things I can look forward to in Tucson in July.

Re: “Hotel Congress Wins Best Breakfast Dish at the Arizona Foodist Awards

They could probably work that out for you. I have some strange food restrictions, and they were able to delete and sub my way to food heaven. Vegan fare is available, too.

Re: “Stupid Christian Idea of the Month

I just love the guy who thinks he knows exactly what "God's words" were, thousands of years ago. John, it might be better if you did align yourself with the rest of the Beatles instead of whatever cult you've decided to join, as they spoke more about love than anyone since Jesus was here. Oh, and the guy that thinks that he's a Christian because he believes in God. Hahahahaha! Why aren't the "real" Christians skewering his posts. Jews believe in God, Muslims believe in God, Christians believe that Jesus was the ONLY son of the only God, and because of that, THE CHURCH should be worshipped without question. Think people, think for yourselves! Because, you're all arguing about meaningless words, and forgetting the message you're suppose to be keeping. Love thy neighbor, turn the other cheek, judge not. . . and yet, hate and revenge and judgement are the hallmark of Christians these days. While you're relearning the history behind your current spiritual institution, look up the Council of Nicaea where Constantine re-wrote the bible to suit his whims, and think about the fact that the fastest growing religious affiliation today is atheist. Science and religion are not compatible, they are diametrically opposed. And until science proves the existence of a god of any kind, all your rantings and ravings are a waste of your breath. You can believe anything you want, your belief alone doesn't make it true.

Re: “Library Pin-Up Calendar Features One of Our Own

Wow, what a bunch on knuckle dragging retards. Are you all kidding me? I'll bet there'd be none of these negative comments if the calendar was made of images of naked female librarians. How about when your house is on fire, you just don't call the fire department, cause they do a calendar like this every year, too. And they're public servents, too, like librarians. Grown people with shit for brains. Congratulations Sol and all the others, and keep up the good work.

Re: “At Least Tucson's Not Topeka

Decriminalize Domestic Violence? Are you serious? Women die every day at the hands of their abusers. Does this include rapists, too? Can there be any question that women are considered expendable in Kansas? Are these people Republicans? Tea partiers? Are these people suppose to be Christians? This is their best answer to the buget crunch? I"ll bet if you get caught with a joint, you go to jail. But beat up your wife or girlfried and walk? Really? Every woman that dies at the hand of their red-neck, alcoholic lover during this little political power struggle should haunt whoever came up with that idea for the rest of their sorry, sexist lives. Women of Kansas, leave that hell hole asap.
