Rock band Clutch has announced a new album, titled "Earth Rocker," set to come out in March of next year. According to the website, "this will be the heaviest and fastest Clutch album to date."
Considering the diversity of musical styles and tempos in their nine studio records, Clutch fans may not know what to take away from that statement. The last few albums were certainly a bit more bluesy, funky, and more accessible to a wider audience. It would be interesting to hear the band return to a harder sound from the days of "Passive Restraints" or Transnational Speedway League.
