We just received word that The Pizza Underground, Macaulay Culkin's new band, will be making an appearance on Monday, March 10 at 191 Toole (the space that once hosted the latest location for Skrappy's), 191 E. Toole Ave.
The band hasn't released an album or a single song, but that isn't stopping them from booking shows across the nation. The good people at Noisey interviewed the band and released their first (offical) music video earlier today:
The AV Club originally broke the news about Culkin's latest obscure musical venture eariler this month. Pizza Underground is combination of Culkin's love for the Velvet Underground and pizza. The article says the movie star plays the kazoo, contributes vocals and beats on empty pizza boxes.
The band members (besides Culkin) are Matt Colbourn, Phoebe Kreutz, Deenah Vollmer and Austin Kilham.
