Antenori: The Heck With 2012, Let's Talk About 2014
Frank Antenori has hit the podium at the GOP gathering at the Sheraton, and not surprisingly, he was fired up.
Not so much about tonight's results, though he did quickly declare a sweeping victory for Romney all over the universe. Instead, he was more concerned with getting those in attendance to pledge their support for what he called a "major battle" for directional control of Arizona.
In 2014.
"In two years, we've got another battle in this state," said Antenori, who is running for Arizona Senate in District 10. "The left wants to turn Arizona blue. We, as a party, need your help. We are in 'occupied territory' in Pima County."
According to Antenori, Pima County is Ground Zero for where Democrats plan to overrun the state in 2014, so much so he says Maricopa County has already "written us off."
