Gardening doesn't need to bite the dust just because it's getting up to the high, scorching digits. Monsoon season is here, and to celebrate, Desert Survivors Nursery, 1020 W. Starr Pass Blvd., will hold a plant sale on Saturday, July 11 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This nursery will showcase their specialty, indigenous plants that are native to 500 miles of Tucson. The sale is for 10 percent off for the general public and 20 percent for members. Not only could a new cactus be a cute addition to your yard, you could support the nursery's mission of fostering native species.
