Best Way to Learn About Science

The UA College of Science Lecture Series

You might never get as smart as Lex Luthor, but you'll still feel like a genius after attending one of the UA College of Science's Tuesday-night lectures. Each week in the spring, a different scientist takes the stage at UA Centennial Hall, explaining to the full house, for example, how perception works in our brains, or what really happened in the Big Bang. This is a hot ticket: Last spring, organizers had to turn away people at the door before some of their "Cosmic Origins" lectures (which, as it turned out, had nothing at all to do with the Silver Surfer). How long before they have to move to McKale?
