STAFF PICK: You can't go wrong with anything on Tooley's menu, but we're particularly fond of the Dodi, a mild burrito stuffed overfull with fresh tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and sour cream. The star of the Dodi, as with many of Tooley's healthy Mexican creations, is the delectable shredded turkey seasoned generously with garlic and black pepper. Moist, lean and always fresh, it's the perfect ingredient for a variety of tacos, burritos and enchiladas, as well as the stock for Tooley's unbeatable posole soup. The latter is a hominy-based soup like menudo, substituting the bird for the cow. Topped with thin slices of radish and avocado, it's a meal unto itself (or you can order it in a cup on the side). Tooley's also has a number of vegetarian dishes, and a brand new outdoor patio for a quiet meal in Tucson's colorful Lost Barrio warehouse district (turn south on Park Avenue from Broadway Boulevard).
