OK, so Savers isn't the cheapest thrift store in the city. It's not locally owned. And shopping there definitely won't get you any hipster points. But if you're looking for a used household item or an article of clothing, and you're looking to get it now—without a lot of digging through overflowing bins and pawing through unorganized racks—you'll be happy with Savers, as long as you're not too picky. And if you're trying to quit an expensive mall addiction, Savers is a great place to buy armloads of stuff you may or may not need without spending a boatload of money. And some of your money does go to charity.
