High-speed Internet and high-priced, high-octane coffee are now available on every trendy corner in Tucson. Seven Cups is another world entirely, with not only the best tea, but the best ch'i in town. Serene, elegantly simple and dedicated to the refined exploration of a beverage that's had entire rituals devoted to it, Seven Cups is also as comforting as chamomile, although that's not on the menu. Instead, you'll find several pages of almost sensual descriptions of tender leaves, delicate flowers and exotic flavors to ponder, complete with their geographic provenance. Staffers are unfailingly friendly and helpful in making choices, returning unobtrusively to refill whatever charming pot becomes your tea.
