STAFF PICK: Be patient, because there is always a line. In the westside snow-cone wars, Frosty Sno reigns supreme, and is well worth the wait. Of course you have the usual flavors of red, green and blue, but if you're feeling adventurous, try mango or tamarind. You can get your cone with real fruit or even ice cream mixed in. Sit under the tarpaulin ramada, enjoy the crunch of gravel under your feet, and savor the view of El Rio clinic to the east or the big empty dirt lot to the south. They also serve nachos, pretzels, hot dogs and pickles (dill or hot) to make sure your diet is balanced. And drop a coin in the water jar--if it lands in the shot glass, you win a free cone!
