STAFF PICK: Snow cones, cimarronas, raspados, whatever you call them, the best in town come from Tony's Place, a brightly painted wooden stand that's been in the Pacheco family's front yard for 42 years. Toni Pacheco's father (another Tony) started the business, which she now runs with her husband Tony. (They also have a son named Tony.) Mrs. Pacheco makes all her own syrups from scratch, using her dad's secret recipes. Try the milk flavor, sweet and cool and tasting mysteriously of flan. Tony's Place is open only in the warm months, from sometime in February until sometime in October. Hurry down before the weather cools off, and say hi to Tony for us.
