Is it really possible for a humble place like this to put out amazingly tasty food? The answer is a resounding yes! The food here is Somalian, which means it includes influences from all over the world. And while the sabusas, pilafs, goat curry and kabobs are all quite wonderful, it's the chicken shawarma that lures us back. A huge mound of chicken strips fragrant with exotic spices is placed in front of you. Golden-brown in color, the aroma will make your mouth water. Take a bite, and then another, and then another. Oh, my! You'd love to take some home for lunch tomorrow, but the dish is so delightful that there probably won't be any left.
