Usually taking place near the close of an exhibition, the curator tours give you an up-close and personal chat with the featured artist and curator. Both curator and artist (often Tucson-based) discuss the meaning behind their exhibit, their process, and allow time for questions at the end. Tours take place during lunch-time, giving you an excuse to get out of the office and hang out on MOCA's plaza (which is the current home of Box by Coke Wisdom O'Neal). It's a quick, easy way to get behind-the-scenes of your favorite exhibits and one of the best ways to spend $8—or, only $5 if you're a member.
