Foie Pops

Heads up to all those people who oppose the use of foie gras—STOP READING NOW! Dante's Fire has only been open a few months, but these tiny pops are a big hit. They may be a bit pricey, but they're totally worth it. First there's the foie gras. Then there are the apple pops that have been cooked sous vide. This is how you eat them: Place one of each pop in your mouth at the same time. Hold on for one second. Then bite. Smooth, creamy, savory foie! Sweet, toothsome nearly melon-like apple with a hint of sweet wine! The tastes and textures collide and then come together in a rush. Ahhhhh! Bliss!
